The home was first shown extant in the 1929 map of Haverford. It is listed as vacant in the 1930 census, and by 1939, the Appleton family resided there.

1930 census: Delaware-origin fertilizer manufacturer George is living with his family.

The home was put up in sale in 1936 for $13,500, and the advertisement featured a photograph of the house pictured below. Evidently, the home didn't sell because the Collins still reside there in 1940.

The Youngs lived in the home at least until 1952. The Fullers owned the house in time in 1970 too sell it to the McGlinns for $31,000. The McGlinns sold the home to the Boyles in 1985 for $112,900. In 1999, they sold the home for $242,500.
